Working alongside a large local construction firm and a prestigious North East interior design company, in 2023 we were involved in the exciting renovation of Valerie’s Tearoom in Whitley Bay.
As part of the recently restored and iconic North East venue, Spanish City, Valerie’s Tearoom underwent a full sympathetic renovation designed with references to the style of the original traditional tearoom. AGP was responsible for painting and wallpapering works following the renovation.
Before painting and wallpapering, we diligently prepared the surfaces, cleaning and sanding the walls and repairing any damage. We then painted all ceilings, walls, woodwork, bulkheads, washrooms and staircases/handrails. Top quality Dulux products were used to maximise coverage, ensuring durability, a flawless finish and easy maintenance for the property owners.
We were also involved in professionally applying feature wallpaper that paid homage to the 1950s style and aesthetic of the tearoom.
The AGP team worked around the clock alongside a range of professional contractors to ensure the project was completed, and ready for the re-opening launch date.
